Barr-Reeve lost the lead late in a 3-2 defeat to Tecumseh on Tuesday. The game was tied at two with the Lady Braves batting in the top of the eighth when an error scored one run for Tecumseh.

Washington fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 12-0 loss to Barr-Reeve on Thursday. The Vikings scored on a single by Brooklyn Jones and a walk by Emma Davis in the first inning.
Washington struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Barr-Reeve, giving up 12 runs. In the first inning, the Vikings got their offense started when Jones singled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs. A single by Kiara Welsh in the first inning was a positive for the Hatchets. Grace Butcher led things off on the rubber for Barr-Reeve. She allowed three hits and zero runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out 11 and walking one. Welsh was in the circle for Washington. Welsh went four innings, allowing five runs on eight hits and striking out five. Katie Reed threw one inning out of the bullpen. Hayleigh Cummins, Welsh, and Ellycia Shartzer each collected one hit to lead Washington. The Vikings scattered ten hits in the game. Addison Jones, Butcher, Jones, and Natalie Stoll all collected multiple hits for Barr-Reeve Varsity Vikings. Jones went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Barr-Reeve Varsity Vikings in hits. Barr Reeve (18-3) play again Saturday against Loogootee. Game time is set for 1:00. Washington (1-16) will be back on the diamond ion Saturday at 11:00 against Princeton. |

Karlye Graber was perfect on the mound on Wednesday to lead Barr Reeve past North Knox 10-0. Graber induced a groundout from Malli Lyons to end the game.
The Vikings secured the victory thanks to seven runs in the fourth inning. Emma Davis, Kendall Miller, Natalie Stoll, and Brooklyn Jones all drove in runs in the frame. Graber pitched Barr Reeve to victory. She surrendered zero runs on zero hits over five innings, striking out 13 and walking zero. Barr Reeve racked up 15 hits. Addison Jones, Jones, Stoll, and Willow Thompson all managed multiple hits. Jones and Jones each collected three hits to lead the Vikings. The Vikings (18-3) will next take to the diamond at home against Washington at 5:30. |
