Last night, the Forest Park Boys soccer team traveled to take on #11 Northeast Dubois and won 4-2. In the first half, JD Kerber got us on the board early when he dribbled through the defense and placed his shot past the goalkeeper. The game went into halftime 1-1. The second half didn't see any scoring from either team until later on when Gabe Muller's free kick near midfield found the foot of JD Kerber in the box, who redirected the ball past the goalkeeper. Conner Knies took his turn by sneaking past the last line of defense and slotting a shot to the far post. Almost immediately after that, Conner connected with JD before JD found the net, recording a hat trick on the evening.

Forest Park (5-7) Varsity volleyball lost to Linton-Stockton 15-25, 16-25, 13-25 on Saturday at Linton. Leading the Rangers in kills were Avari Burger with 9 kills and Katelynn Englert with kills. The Rangers were led in setting by
Ali Brandes with 13 assists and Kenzie Schulz with 7 assists. Defense was led by Ali Welp with 3 blocks and Philicity Collignon with 2 blocks. Claire Hagedorn also contributed 2 aces. The Junior Varsity lost Forest Park JV volleyball lost to Linton-Stockton 21-25, 25-23, 11-15. The Freshman team won 25-18, 25-12. The Rangers will be back in action Monday at h0me against PAC foe Princeton and Tuesday at home against Tell City. The Class A #1 Ranked Forest Park Rangers defeated PAC Conference opponent Pike Central 4-0 on Saturday in Bretzville.
Emma Grundhoefer , Abigal Jahn, Ali Wahl and Addison Weyer all had 1 goal for the Rangers. On Saturday, the Forest Park boys soccer team hosted Pike Central. Forest Park scored first as Conner Knies and Kristian Alegria executed some slick passing before Kristian found Carter Hinson in the box and Carter found the back of the net. The game went to halftime 1-1, but FP sealed the win when JD Kerber scored a free kick from outside the penalty area. Forest Park moves to 4-3-1.

Forest Park dropped a volleyball match at home to the Loogootee Lions on Thursday, 18-25, 23-25, 12-25.
The Rangers were led by Avari Burger with 9 kills and 10 digs. Katelyn Englert had 8 kills on the night. Ali Welp led the Rangers in digs with 16 digs. Forest Park was led in assists by Ali Brandes with 15 assists and Kenzie Schulz with 7 assists. Forest Park also dropped the junior varsity match 20-25, 21-25 and the freshman match 25-22, 25-22. Forest Park will play again Saturday at Linton. The Forest Park Ranger, ranked #1 in 1A this week defeated the Southridge Raiders 6-0 at Southridge on Thursday 6-0 The Rangers scored 2 goals in the 1st period and 4 goals in the 2nd period. Goals were scored by Maggie Kerber (2) Addison Weyer (2) and Leah Dilger (1).

Forest Park defeated the Paoli Rams 25-20, 25-23, 25-18 at Paoli. The angers were led in kills by Avari Burger (8 kills) Lizzy LaGrange (6kills) and Philicity Collignon (6 kills). Ali Brandes led the Rangers with 18 assists. Kenzie Schulz also had 10 assists. Ali Welp led the Rangers with 17 digs. Claire Hagedorn (14 digs) and Avari Berger (11 Digs) also contributed on defense. Forest Park (4-5 Overall and 1-2 in conference) will be back on the court Tuesday September 9th when they play County Rival Dubois.

Last night, the Forest Park Boys soccer team traveled to take on Southridge. Southridge scored first and very early on a sleeping Forest Park defense and goalkeeper. However, Forest Park responded with a goal by Spenser Wolf who volleyed the assist by JD Kerber. Luke Hauser then scored a goal after following up a hard shot off the goalkeeper by JD Kerber. Forest Park won 2-1.
The Rangers are 3-3-1 Overall and 2-3 in PAC Play. Forest Park will play next September 9 when they travel to Pocket Athletic Conference foe Boonville.

Forest Park led at halftime 3-0 by way of two goals from Spenser Wolf, one assisted by Carter Hinson with a cross from the corner and the other off of a rebounded ball in the box. JD Kerber scored the final goal of the half by dribbling the ball through the defense before placing his shot past the goalkeeper. In the second half off an opponent's goalkick, Carter Giesler played a quick pass up to Carter Hinson who found JD Kerber in the box for our final goal of the game. Forest Park won 4-1.
