Mia Kiegel started the game for Heritage Hills . Kiegel surrendered four runs on seven hits over five and a third innings, striking out six. The Patriots Varsity racked up 12 hits in the game. Mayci Litherland, Gordon, Fisher, and Sarah Day each had multiple hits for Heritage Hills. Day, Fisher, Gordon, and Litherland all had two hits to lead Heritage Hills. She allowed two hits and three runs over three innings, striking out three Heritage Hills tallied 12 hits in the game. Day, Mayci Litherland, Jenna McDowell, Emma Day, and Fisher each racked up multiple hits for the Patriots. Fisher, Day, McDowell, Litherland, and Day each managed two hits to lead Heritage Hills. Clayton Weisheit shut down Heritage Hills, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Forest Park to a 4-0 victory on Thursday
The Rangers got on the board in the first inning when Keegan Abell singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run. A single by Colten Hopf in the second inning was a positive for Heritage Hills. Weisheit earned the win for the Rangers. He allowed two hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out eight and walking zero. Peyton Gray was on the mound for Heritage Hills.
