The Jasper Wildcats Frosh team won 28-22 against Reitz Panthers. Jasper got on the board n the 2nd quarter on a 14 yard pass from Thomas Seger fom AJ Huelsman to take a 6-0 lead. Jasper's first score of the 3rd quarter was on a 6 yard rush by AJ Hulelsman. The 2 point conversion was good on a pass from AJ Huelsman to Heichelbeh. Jasper scored in the 4th quarter twice on a 1 yard rush from Jace Gramelspacher and on a 12 yard touchdown reception from AJ Huelsman to Caden Erny. Huelsman PAT Run was successful to make the final score 28-22.
The Wildcats were lead in rushing by AJ Huelsman on 13 rushes for 93 yards. Brayden Giesler had 5 rushes for 48 yards.
Huelsman had 6 completions for 83 yards and 2b touchdowns. Caden Erny had 3 reception for 41 yards and a touchdown and Thomas Seger had 2 receptions for 22 yard and a touchdown.
The defense was led by Evan Nordhoff (8 tackles and 2 sacks), Tyson Ruhe (7 tackles and 2 sacks) and Hunter Eckert (3 tackles and 1 sack).
The Jasper Freshman will be in action at Jerry Brewer Stadium on September 9th against the Heritage Hills Patriots.
