The Loogootee Lions Volleyball team ( 1-1, 1-0 conference) defeated the Dubois Jeeps 25-22, 25-16, 27-25 Thursday night in Dubois in a Blue Chip Conference matchup.
The Lions were led in kills by Alana Hedrick with 8, Sydnee Wittmer with 7,and Cacia Wilcoxen with 6 kills. In assists they were led by Brooklyn Summers 19 assists andwith Sydnee Wittmer 15 assists. Mallorie Sutton had 3 Blocks and Sydnee Wittmer had 2 blocks. The back row was led by Kyleigh Courter with 20 dids, Sydnee Wittmer 1with 14 digs and Breanna Courter with 11 digs. Lindsey Nolan had 5 aces on the night. The Junior Varsity (1-1) also won. Both teams play Linton at home next Tuesday, Aug. 23.
