    Despite seeing its four-run lead whittled down by the end, Northeast Dubois still held off South Spencer for a 6-5 victory on Saturday.  South Spencer scored three runs in the failed comeback on a double by Noah Bunner, a single by Ty Mattingly, and a fielder's choice by Denver Epperson.
   South Spencer scored three runs in the seventh inning, but the  Jeeps still managed to pull out the victory.  The offensive firepower by South Spencer was led by Bunner, Mattingly, and Epperson, all driving in runs in the frame.
   In the first inning, Northeast Dubois got their offense started when Clay Fuhrman grounded out, scoring one run.
   Fuhrman led the the  Jeeps to victory on the mound. Fuhrman lasted one inning, allowing four hits and three runs while striking out one and walking zero.
   Epperson took the loss for South Spencer. He surrendered two runs on two hits over two innings, striking out two and walking one.
   Mason Eble started the game for South Spencer. Eble lasted three innings, allowing four hits and three runs while walking one Aidan Dodd started the game for Northeast Dubois Varsity Jeeps. Dodd surrendered two runs on six hits over six innings, striking out four and walking zero.
   Northeast Dubois  launched one home run on the day. Aden Sheetz went yard in the fifth inning.
   The Jeeps totaled seven hits in the game.  Gaige Schepers and Ty Kalb all collected multiple hits for Northeast Dubois.  
   South Spencer collected ten hits on the day.  Ty Brocon, Mattingly, and Duke Sitzman each collected multiple hits for South Spencer.  Brocon went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead South Spencer in hits.
   The Jeeps (14-7) play Monday at home against Pike Central at 5:00.   South Spencer (3-14) plays again Tuesday at home against Heritage Hills.  Game time is 5:00.

   Grant Mehringer threw a shutout to lead Northeast Dubois past Vincennes Rivet 11-0 on Thursday.
   The Jeeps got things started in the first inning. Clay Fuhrman drove in two when Fuhrman singled.
   Northeast Dubois scored five runs in the third inning. The Jeeps offense in the inning was led by Dylan Hembree, Trey Wiseman, Ty Kalb, Aden Sheetz, and Aidan Dodd, all driving in runs in the inning.
   Mehringer pitched Northeast Dubois to victory. He allowed one hit and zero runs over five innings, striking out.
   Northeast Dubois tallied 15 hits. Mehringer, Wiseman, Sheetz, and Kalb all had multiple hits for the Jeeps. Mehringer went 3-for-3 at the plate.
   The Jeeps (12-7) will be back in action Saturday at 1:00 against South Spencer.

Northeast Dubois took the lead late in the game in a 7-4 victory over Springs Valley on Wednesday. The game was tied at three with the Jeeps batting in the top of the sixth when Ty Kalb singled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.
Northeast Dubois got things started in the second inning. Dylan Hembree singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.
The Jeeps knotted the game up at three in the top of the fourth inning, when Rockne Lueken grounded out, scoring two runs.
After the Jeeps scored one run in the top of the seventh, Springs Valley answered with one of their own. Dubois scored when Hembree's sac fly scored one run.
Kalb led the Northeast Dubois to victory on the mound. Kalb allowed three hits and three runs over four innings, striking out five. Clay Fuhrman threw three innings in relief out of the The Jeeps racked up eight hits in the game. Hembree, Fuhrman, and Kalb each collected multiple hits . Hembree led theJeeps with three hits in three at bats.
Northeast Dubois (11-7) will play again at Vincennes River at 6:00.

  Northeast Dubois  watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in an 8-4 loss to Evansville Harrison on Saturday in the inaugural Mike Zehr Classic.  
   The Jeeps tallied three runs in the seventh inning.  Their big bats in the inning were led by a single by Grant Mehringer, a sac fly by Clay Fuhrman, and a double by Aidan Dodd.
  Clay Fuhrman took the loss for Northeast Dubois Varsity Jeeps. The bulldog surrending on nine hits over six innings, striking out two and walking one.
    Northeast Dubois Varsity Jeeps totaled nine hits.  Dodd, Ty Kalb, and Mehringer all managed multiple hits for Northeast Dubois Varsity Jeeps.  Kalb and Dodd each collected three hits to lead Northeast Dubois Varsity Jeeps.
    The Jeeps play again at home against Tecumseh at home stating at 6:00.

   Northeast Dubois seized victory in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off walk at the end of the game to topple Bloomfield 6-5 in the opening round of the Mike Zehr Invitational..  The game was tied at five with the Jeeps batting in the bottom of the seventh when Gaige Schepers drew a walk, scoring one run.
   A four-run lead in the third inning was just enough for Northeast Dubois to hold off Bloomfield for the victory.  Bloomfield scored five runs in the failed comeback. Brett Sherrard, Sherrard, and  Braxton Clark all picked up RBIs in the rally.
   The Jeeps got things started in the first inning when Clay Fuhrman singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.
   Aidan Dodd earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for Dubois. Dodd went seven innings, allowing five runs on nine hits and striking out six.
   Fuhrman went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead the Jeeps in hits.
   The Jeeps (9-7) play again at home against Tecumseh at home stating at 6:00.

Linton-Stockton scored four runs in the third inning, but Northeast Dubois still won 15-5 on Thursday. The big inning for Linton-Stockton came thanks to a single by Brayden Husband, a sacrifice fly by Tyson Walker, a fielder's choice by Nathan Frady, and an error on a ball put in play by Luke McDonald.
The Jeeps got things started in the first inning. Aden Sheetz doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run. The Jeeps put up six runs in the fifth inning. Ty Kalb, Sheetz, Aidan Dodd, and Gaige Schepers each drove in runs during the inning.
Ty Kalb got the win for the Jeeps. Kalb allowed seven hits and five runs over five innings, striking out four and walking one.
Northeast Dubois totaled 14 hits. Dodd, Sheetz, Rockne Lueken, Dylan Hembree, and Kalb all managed multiple hits for Northeast Dubois. Dodd went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the Jeeps in hits.
The Jeeps (10-6) play Saturday at the Mile Zehr Invitational at Dubois High School. Their first game is against Bloomfield at 10:00.

    Ty Kalb was bad news for opposing pitchers on Tuesday, driving in five on two hits to lead Northeast Dubois  past Shoals 27-1 on Tuesday.  Kalb drove in runs on a in the second, a in the third, and a double in the fourth.   
   The Jeeps opened up scoring in the first inning.  Northeast Dubois scored two runs when Gaige Schepers singled.\\
   Northeast Dubois put up eight runs in the second inning.  Aidan Dodd, Clay Fuhrman, Rockne Lueken, Dylan Hembree, and Kalb all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
   Grant Mehringer got the start for the Jeeps. He allowed three hits and one run over five innings, striking out nine and walking zero.
   Jamison Coy was on the pitcher's mound for Shoals. He surrendered 13 runs on seven hits over two and a third innings, striking out two.  Carson Shaw,    Northeast Dubois racked up 20 hits.  Dodd, Caleb Lampert, Aden Sheetz, Mehringer, Lueken, Schepers, and Kalb each racked up multiple hits for the Jeeps.  Lampert and Dodd each collected three hits to lead Northeast Dubois.
​   The Jeep's (9-6) will play next again on Thursday at home against Linton-Stockton starting at 6:00.   Shoals will the the diamond again Thursday at Union-Dugger at 5:00.

 

   Clay Fuhrman threw a shutout to lead Northeast Dubois  past North Knox 11-0 on Monday.
   The Jeeps opened up scoring in the first inning, when Aidan Dodd singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
   Fuhrman took the win for Northeast Dubois. He lasted five innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out one and walking zero.
   The Jeeps launched one home run on the day. Ty Kalb had a four bagger in the third inning.
   Northeast Dubois totaled eight hits in the game.  Kalb, Rockne Lueken, and Fuhrman each had multiple hits for the Jeeps.  Kalb led Northeast Dubois Varsity Jeeps with three hits in three at bats.
The Jeeps (8-6) will be back in action tonight at Shoals starting at 5:30.

   Aidan Dodd didn't allow a single run against Orleans, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Northeast Dubois  to a 20-0 victory on Monday.     
   Rockne Lueken collected four hits in four at bats to help lead Northeast Dubois Varsity Jeeps to victory.  Lueken hit a grand slam in the first, doubled in the third, singled in the fourth, and singled in the fourth.
   The  Jeeps got things started in the first inning when Aden Sheetz singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.
   Northeast Dubois  notched ten runs in the fourth inning.  The Jeep's big inning was driven by singles by Lueken, Caleb Lampert, and Clay Fuhrman, a walk by Ty Kalb, a home run by Grant Mehringer, and an error on a ball put in play by Trey Wiseman.
    Dodd took the win for Northeast Dubois.  He lasted five innings, allowing three hits and zero runs while striking out two and walking one.
    The Jeeps had 20 runs on the day and 17 hits.   Along with Lueken's 4 hit day, Northeast Dubois also had multiple hit days from Ty Kalb (double and single), Aden Sheetz (2 singles), Clay Fuhrman (2 singles) and Gaige Schepers (double ad single).   Grant Mehringer (home run), Aidan Dodd, Caleb Lampert and Dylan Hembre (double) all had 1 hit a piece.
   The Jeeps will e bak i action Tuesda at South Knox.  Game time is set for 5:30.

   The Northeast Dubois  Jeeps was victorious over Wood Memorial, 6-2 on Thursday at Northeast Dubois High School.
   The Jeeps got things moving in the first inning.  Aidan Dodd grounded out, scoring one run.
    Grant Mehringer pitched for the Jeeps.  He allowed six hits and two runs over six innings, striking out seven and walking zero.  Clay Fuhrman threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
   Aiden Dodd (Double and single) led the Northeast Dubois 8 hit night with a  2 hit night.  Aden Sheetz, Clay Fuhrman, Gaige Schepers Rockne Lueken and Trey Wiseman all contributed 1 hit.  Lueken, Sheetz, Schepers and Wiseman all had a stolen base on the night.
  The Jeeps will play again Monday at home against Orleans. Game time is scheduled for 5:00.
