The Northeast Dubois Jeeps dropped a game to the Tecumseh Braves 8-3 in opening around a sectional at Dubois. Northeast Dubois Jeeps Varsity lost despite out-hitting Tecumseh eight to seven.
The Jeeps had eight hits in the game led by Ty Kalb (2 Doubles, 1 Single and 3 runs scored) had 3 hits. Colby Pieper (2 Singles, 2 RBIs and 1 stolen base) and Aden Thewes (2 Single and 1 RBI) also had two it hits in the game. Aiden Dodd also had a hit in the game.
Pieper was the starter on the mound for the Jeeps. He pitched 4.2 innings, allowing 4 hits and 7 runs while striking out 3 and walking 3 Braves. Aiden Thewes pitched the final 1.1 innings, allowing 1 run and 3 hits while striking out 1 Brave.
Northeast Dubois finishes the season at 12-10. With the Jeeps only losing 2 Seniors to this seasons squad, with experience, look for big things from the Head Coach Luke Wollems and the Jeeps next season.

Aden Thewes pitched the last inning to take the loss. Dubois will be back in action Saturday at home to wrap up the regular season against Perry Central. Game time is at 11 am. |
The Northeast Dubois Jeeps lost to the Tecumseh Braves on Tuesday at Dubois. The Braves scored 8 of their 11 runs in he last 3 innings on their way to an 11=3 victory over the Jeeps.
The Jeeps were 1 hit with the lone hit coming from Cole Tretter. The Jeeps did have 9 walks in the game. Dubois had 2 stolen bases during the game, one each by Colby Pieper and Bryce Merkel. Logan Lampert started the game on the mound, pitching 4.2 innings, striking out 2 Braves while allowing 8 hits and 5 runs. Kendrick Thombleson came in the pitch he final 2.1 innings. The Northeast Dubois Jeeps dropped a 9-4 contest to the Barr Reeve Vikings at Dubois. The Vikings got off to a god start with 5 runs in the top of the 1st inning.
The Jeeps had 6 hits on the night all by different hitters. Grace Lueken, Hadley Fuhrman (Double), Rylan Kalb, Keli Merkel, Landyn Rasche and Brooklyn Kieffner (Double) all had a hit for the Jeeps. The Dubois Lady Jeep Softball team (6-3) defeated the Tel City Marksmen in dramatic fashion on Grace Lueken's walk-off home run. Lueken also had 3 hits and 5 RBI's in the game. Tell City tied the game at 7-7 in the top of the 7th inning when the Marksmen scored two runs. Along with Lueken's 3 hits, Rebecca Brosmer had 2 doubles. Hadley Furman, Rhylan Kalb, Kelli Merkel (double), Alexus Royer, Kayleigh VanPelt and Landyn Rasche all had a hit a piece as the Jeeps had 1 hits on the game. Hadley Meyer went 8 innings, striking out 3 for the win. Dubois will be back in action on Monday at home vs Orleans. First pitch is schedled for 5 pm. |

Bryce Merkel (double) and Colby Pieper (2 RBIs) led the Jeeps with 2 hits as they racked out8 hits for the day. Two other Jeeps had 3 hit nights, Aiden Dodd (2 Doubles and 2 RBIs) and Aden Thewes ( Home Run and 3 RBIs)., Logan Lambert also had 2 his on the night.
