Jasper defeated then Southridge Raiders Varsity 15-25, 8-25, 9-25 to win the battle of two Dubois County heavy weights in 3 sets at Southridge High School.
The Raiders were lead by Maddy Songer with 16 assists and 2 aces. Bailey Keusch had 9 kills for the Raiders. Karly Barnett had 8 digs and Claire Lanman had 7 digs. . Caitlyn Frick led he Raiders in blocks with 2 blocks.
Jasper also won the junior varsity match 19-25-19, 25-28 and the freshmen match 25-13, 25-15. Southridge (13-11 ) will play again at Tecumseh on Monday . Jasper (13-7) will play again in the Artesian Classic in Martinsville.

The Raiders defeated a PAC foe Tell City 25-22, 25-22, 26-24 with a strong offensive showing from Brenna Brosmer (14 kills) and Bailey Keusch (13 kills). with 34 assists from Maddy Songer. Defensively the Raiders saw blocking action from Caitlyn Frick, Emmy Petry and Bailey Keusch (2 each) and a team high 14 digs from Bailey Keusch. The JV team fell in straight sets 16-25, 16-25. The freshman team traveled to Barr-Reeve to play in a tri-match with the Barr Reeve Vikings and Vincennes Lincoln falling to both teams. Southridge dropped a match to Evansville Mater Dei, 17-25, 20-25, 21-25 in Evansville on Thursday.
For the Raiders, Bailey Keusch had 8 kills and 10 digs, Breanna Brosmer had5 kills and 3 aces and Karly Barnett had 3 aces and 14 digs. Maddy Songer led the Raiders with 15 assists on the night.
Mater Dei also won he junior varsity match 17-25, 20-25, 21-25 and freshmen match 12-25, 11-25.
The Raiders next play at home against PAC Conference foe Tell City on Monday.

The Southridge Raiders won a Pocket Athletic Conference over the Pike Central Chargers 25-23, 25-19, 25-15. After a close 1st Set, The %Raiders won the second and third sets handily.
Junior Bailey Keusch led then Raiders with 5 aces, 19 Digs and 22 kills. Senior Karly Barnett had 14b digs and 4 aces. Senior setter Mady Songer had 28 assists on the night and Freshman Emmy Petry led the Raiders in blocks with 2.
The Junior Varsity won 25-19, 22-25, 15-5 and the Freshman team won 25-24, 25-24,
The Raiders (9-5 overall and 4-2 in conference) will be back in action Thursday when they travel to Evansville to play Mater Dei (6-8).

The Southridge Raiders dropped a match at Springs Valley Varsity 16-25, 21-25, 22-25. Southridge was led by Bailey Keusch with 13 kills, 2 aces and 15 digs. Maddy Songer had 23 assists on the night. The Raiders were lead in digs by Karly Barnet with 18 digs.

The Southridge Raiders dropped a 3-1 match against the Gibson Southern Titans in PAC action on Tuesday.
"We played poorly to say the least. We missed 16 serves, said Head Coach Mande Keusch. "We gave up a whole lot of points. Too many unforced errors. Not great serve receive. Glad we at least got one set off them. It was a missed opportunity for a PAC win."

The Raiders dropped the first set 14-25 before coming back to win the second set 25-16. The Raiders dropped the third and fourth sets 12-225 and 16-25.
The Raiders were lead by Bailey Keusch with 12 kills and 10 digs. Maddy Songer had 22 assists and two service aces.
The Raiders will be back in action Thursday when they travel to Springs Valley.
